New 2K11 Soca Carnival Track "PRESSURE POINT"

  Pressure Point - Solange
It was so good – they had to do it twice except this time award winning songwriter Courtney “Curty” Louis shares songwriting credit with Kennedy “Zionomi” Gittens on this, another tune off his Stratosphere Music/ Dutch Productions produced Scatter riddim. Pressure Point will introduce you to the soca force that is Solange. She may have been gone from the music scene for a bit but the versatile media madam is no stranger to the excitement this song is destined to generate.
Her voice is steady; the riddim is as tight as the Pressure Point she speaks of with the advanced warning “Carnival massive/ you are about to exceed the bacchanal limit/ We have reached pressure point/ The point of no return.” But when you hear Pressure Point you won’t want to come back especially when Solange tells you with this one “We mashing up fete/ we mashing up show/ whining up on we pressure point.” Power Soca is the driving force that keeps flags raised, feet stomping and waists gyrating and “we getting on mad inna this/ we getting on bad inna this/ we getting on charge inna this” with Pressure Point…TURBO TURBO!

New 2K11 Soca Carnival Track "MATAY YOU"

  Matay You - Ambi
If you know him as the younger brother of soca title winner Ricky T or the first runner up from last year’s inaugural Piton Soca Starz with Push Dem or even as the guy who teamed up with Mongster on the previously released Stratosphere Music/ Dutch Productions Ma Malay then this song will cement him in your mind as a soca force to be reckoned with. Written by award winning songwriter Courtney “Curty” Louis, Marley “Mongster” James and the artiste Ambrose “Ambi” Joseph himself – Matay You is produced by Louis for Stratosphere Music/ Dutch
Productions. This is the power tune you have been waiting for to set Carnival 2011 off. The beat is infectious, melodious and will compel your waist to move. In fact – be careful since it is guaranteed to make you “bring it come let me matay you.”
This is what a soca tune should be – simple, direct and to the point with a beat that will grab your waist, foot, head and every body part including the most important one you are being told to matay. So like Ambi says at the start of the track when all you hear is the drum beat signaling something big is coming “Curty, bring the riddim” and you get ready to move to Matay You...BOOM!

New 2K11 Power Soca Carnival Track "UNTANGLER"

  Zionomi – Untangler
Two years after reggae artiste Zionomi and songwriter/ producer Courtney “Curty” Louis teamed up for the artiste's first ever groovy hit "Love how you whining so" (Who are you) off the Boom Boom riddim – the two have worked together again - but this time on a power song entitled Untangler. The song is featured on the Scatter riddim and is the first power release for Carnival 2011 from Stratosphere Music/ Dutch Productions. On it the reggae phenom comes at you with a barage of swag declaring himself the man with the Certificate and Doctorate to untangle your waist “If your waistline tie u up/ me have the whine to untangle it/ if it catch on fire/ me ah de one there to water it.”

Written by Zionomi who calls himself a professional and not an apprentice - and is recommended by doctors to untangle your waist – Untangler is destined to do just that. If you loved their first collaboration and let’s face it who didn’t? – then this one is destined to be your anthem for Carnival 2011 and beyond so “Raise up your hand if you are an untangler” and whine to this one because “Curty” and Zionomi do it “like regular” they do it “spectacular!”

Dutch Productions has released three tracks off the Carnival 2K11 24 Karat riddim. The music set to a raga soca beat is led by “Good as Gold” – a collaboration between Jamaican Bad Gyal Ce’Cile and Q-Pid. The dancehall diva says the track came together during her many visits to Saint Lucia last year.

It is a tune she says has been getting lots of positive response – one she will use to introduce Q-Pid to the Jamaican music scene “Me and Me Baby” is the name of the Superman HD track off the same 24 Karat riddim.

Courtney “Curty” Louis also appears with Marieanne on “Rising Up High.” All three songs are written and produced by Louis with writing credit for each individual artistes. The three songs were released Friday morning to all local and regional radio stations including Radio 100.
